Job overview

We are looking for a UEFN Verse Developer (Fresher/Intern) who is passionate about Fortnite and eager to learn the craft of game creation using UEFN and Verse. You’ll work closely with designers, artists, and developers to create, script, and publish exciting gameplay experiences inside Fortnite.

Key responsibilities

• Write custom Verse scripts to define gameplay logic and in-game events.
• Connect Verse scripts with UEFN devices and core game systems.
• Design and manage game flow, including rounds, scoring, and win/loss conditions.
• Test, debug, and optimize gameplay logic for smooth multiplayer experiences.
• Collaborate with designers and artists to integrate and balance gameplay systems.
• Publish, update, and maintain UEFN islands for live player experiences.

Required qualifications

• Must be an active Fortnite player with a strong understanding of the game’s mechanics.
• Prior experience creating UEFN projects (personal, academic, or community-based).
• Basic knowledge or exposure to Verse programming (self-taught or course-based).
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Fast learner, proactive, and able to thrive in a collaborative creative environment.
